Textile art projects by MK Brekke responding to abandoned industrial site
as part of the Homestay project in Murmansk, april 2015
The complete project developed during Homestay was later exhibited in Voss, Norway as part of Gitte Sætre`s Another Female Artist, part of the Agalaus Art Festival May 2015.
The fabric spelling SPASIBO (thank you) in Utopian font was a gift from Murmansk-based patchworkmaster Elena Kliuchnik, and is Soviet-vintage, product of Ivanovo.
