I was a student in the years when the word ANTHROPOCENE - or the discussion around the potential term, entered public discourse and especially made a splash on the cultural scene. The contemporary apocalyptic sublime, from the perspective of the Scandinavian top predator, has been reproduced with passion throughout the last years. For lack of a better word, or perhaps because I find this word the most descriptive for this state of mind even if the dictionary gives it a slightly different meaning, I have organized all work produced within this mindset in a portfolio by the name of WELTSCHMERZ.
